What does an HR Supervisor really do? Think of yourself as the primary person who will be in charge of taking care of the employees.
Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: you want to make a change. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing: that you will be in charge of Employee or Labor Relations.
As an HR Supervisor, you will:
Handles due process documents and proceedings such as admin hearings, and the like
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management,
Performs other duties as assigned.
