We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team at UPM Raflatac Mexico in Sentura, Tlalnepantla.

Hello, I am happy to welcome you to our team; this role will focus on managing various human resources functions; the ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR best practices, Mexican labor laws, and payroll processing, ensuring all our employees received a quality service. – Samantha, HR Manager, Mexico City

What you will do

• Serve as the point of contact for employee payroll-related inquiries

• Maintain and update accurate employee records within the employee system of record (Workday), including personal information, job titles, and payroll data

• Prepare and maintain reports related to payroll, benefits, and labor costs

• Provide support in performance management, employee relations, and other HR functions as needed

Who you are

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

• Your background includes substantial work in HR and payroll management

• You have extensive knowledge of payroll systems and software (e.g., ASP, WorkForce, NominaNet); Payroll certification (e.g., Digital Payroll Certification) is preferred

• You are familiar with Mexican labor laws, tax regulations, and labor standards (IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT)

• You have experience with HRIS systems

• You have experience working with COE’s, Service Center, external payroll partners
