We are looking for a detail-oriented and people centric HR professional who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The HR Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting our team in Spencer, Wisconsin. In this role, you’ll focus on recruitment, positive employee relations and process ownership within the local HR team. 

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and deliver on recruiting plan.

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience in partnership with our Talent Acquisition team.

  • Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.

  • Address employee concerns and conduct investigations when necessary.

  • Own and manage local HR processes and maintain accurate employee records.

  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.

  • Partner with leadership, HR, and Labor to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreement.

Required Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma and 1 plus years of experience in HR generalist field.

  • Candidates with PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or warehousing environment preferred.

  • Union experiences preferred.

Note: This is a three-shift manufacturing plant (5 days per week). The HR Specialist must be flexible to work varying hours from time to time to support the needs of the operation.
