You should be confident engaging with employees and management, managing sensitive information, and taking ownership of your responsibilities in a fast-paced, growing organisation.

While this is not currently a management or team leadership position, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the maturity, initiative and leadership potential to grow into a future HR leadership role as the organisation expands.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in healthcare, ABA therapy or another fast-paced service-based organisation.
  • Experience supporting US-based organisations and familiarity with US employment practices.
  • Experience implementing, configuring or improving HRIS platforms and HR processes.
  • Exposure to payroll administration or payroll systems.
  • Experience developing HR dashboards, reporting frameworks or process automation.
  • Previous experience mentoring or guiding junior team members.
  • Experience supporting organisational growth and improving HR processes in a scaling business.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who demonstrates the following qualities:

Analytical and data-driven: Confident working with HR data, identifying trends and presenting meaningful insights that support business decisions.

Technically capable: Comfortable using HRIS platforms, reporting tools and advanced Excel to maintain accurate records and improve HR operations.

A confident communicator: Able to navigate sensitive conversations, explain HR processes clearly and build positive working relationships.

Organised and detail-oriented: Maintains accurate documentation, manages competing priorities and ensures compliance requirements are consistently met.

Adaptable and resilient: Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-moving environment where priorities may change.

Independent and accountable: Takes ownership of responsibilities, exercises sound judgement and follows through without constant supervision.

A future leader: Demonstrates maturity, initiative and the potential to take on greater responsibility as the organisation grows.

What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate will help ensure that HR operations run smoothly, employee records and HR systems remain accurate, compliance requirements are consistently met, and management has access to reliable HR data to inform decisions.

They will also contribute to a more efficient, proactive and people-focused HR function by identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting employee wellbeing and helping establish scalable HR processes as Golden Care Therapy continues to grow.

If you are an experienced HR professional who enjoys combining people-focused HR support with systems, analytics and continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you.
