ANNAM.AI is a transformative initiative established as a Center of Excellence (CoE) under the Ministry of Education at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar. ANNAM.AI aspires to address critical challenges in agriculture, such as resource optimization, nature inspired enhanced pollination, and real-time decision-making for farmers in their own language. The HR Specialist will manage the full HR lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to payroll coordination and exit formalities—ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations for the ANNAM.AI program. Proficiency in Zoho HR tools is essential for this role.

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Post job ads and manage applications using Zoho Recruit
  

• Coordinate interviews, offers, and joining formalities
  

• Maintain onboarding records and checklists
  

Employee Data & Records

• Maintain and update employee details in Zoho People
  

• Ensure timely updates for new joiners, exits, and changes
  

• Manage digital files and personnel documentation
  

Attendance & Leave Management

• Track attendance, leaves, and holidays via Zoho
  

• Handle leave approvals and shift schedules
  

• Resolve discrepancies and maintain monthly records
  

Payroll Coordination

• Collate payroll inputs and support processing
  

• Coordinate with accounts for timely salary disbursements
  

Exit Formalities

• Conduct exit processes and final settlements
  

• Revoke access and update records in Zoho
  

• Hands-on experience with Zoho People and Zoho Recruit
  

• Strong organizational and documentation skills
  

• Understanding of statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS)
  

• Excellent communication and coordination ability
  

• Experience in academic or research institutions
  

• Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced HR tasks independently
