In this role, you'll work closely with leaders across the business, providing trusted guidance, navigating complex people matters, and helping shape a positive, high-performing culture. You'll play a hands-on role in supporting both managers and employees, ensuring people processes run smoothly and effectively.

Please note: This role is based fully on site at our Timaru facility, as in-person support is essential for our people and operations.
About the role:
- Advising and supporting managers and employees on a range of HR matters
- Helping to attract and onboard great people to join our team
- Leading and contributing to initiatives that enhance engagement, culture, and wellbeing
- Supporting leadership capability, development planning, and succession conversations
- Assisting with employee relations cases and workplace issues, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
- Contributing to diversity, inclusion, and retention strategies
- Providing on-site support to our team, with this role based fully at our Timaru site
About you:
- You bring solid HR experience and a strong understanding of core people practices
- You're confident advising managers, handling employee relations matters, and navigating day-to-day HR challenges
- You have a people-focused mindset and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
- You're a strong communicator who builds trusted relationships across all levels
- You handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
- You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and always looking for ways to improve how things are done
