JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JT4 China Lake is seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist that will be responsible for HR tasks and various administrative functions. The HR Specialist will need to be an excellent communicator, highly organized, multi-tasked, and be able to prioritize various projects.
**An ideal candidate will have an active Secret clearance**

RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Prepare actions such as Reprimands, Suspensions, and Terminations
- Advise executives, managers, and supervisors on all aspects of employee relations, including appropriate handling of conduct and disciplinary matters.
- Analyze complex misconduct and performance cases; determine recommended disciplinary actions; and draft related documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, sensitive environment.
- Excellent oral communication skills, with a diplomatic approach to difficult or sensitive issues.
- Superior writing skills, including the ability to draft complex reports, letters, and formal documentation.

JOB DUTIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Serves as the primary contact for HR related matters within a company business unit or as a member of the Corporate staff. Uses established policies and procedures and subject matter knowledge to support, or individually perform, a variety of specialized administrative services.
Employee will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties:
- Communicates and distributes HR-related information and documentation such as employee benefits, HR and Company policies and procedures
- May serve as the HR liaison between the facility and the HR Corporate Office.
- Develops and maintains database files for employee wage and salary reporting.
- Processes and coordinates with payroll approved salary actions.
- Develops and maintains database of employee benefit elections and related benefit plan documentation.
- Counsels employees on a variety of HR issues, researches appeals, and may participate in issue resolutions.
- Enters approved personnel actions into the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
- Prepares standard reports to respond to company or customer queries.
- Performs related work as required
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources is required and at least three (3) years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of formal training and related work experience.
In addition, a HR Specialist must possess the following qualifications:
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications
- Ability to perform detail-oriented work
- Must possess planning/organizing skills
- Must be able to work under deadline
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance
- Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $78,208 to $93,208 annually.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting up to (30) pounds, constant sitting and use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands.
This position may require travel.
