The HR Support Specialist plays a critical role in providing advanced support for complex HR inquiries and issues that cannot be resolved by the Tier 1 HR Helpdesk team. This role requires a deep understanding of HR policies at the country, regional and global levels along with expertise in systems, and processes, as well as the ability to liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely resolution of escalated issues. The HR Support Specialist is responsible for managing and resolving advanced HR cases, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.

What You Will Do
Manage and resolve complex HR inquiries and escalated employee cases across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Process HR transactions in Workday and maintain accurate employee data in compliance with company policies and service standards.
Provide advanced support for HR systems and technology, including troubleshooting, system updates, integrations, and user support.
Partner with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and Tier 1 HR teams to address complex issues and deliver employee support solutions.
Coordinate with external vendors, benefits providers, payroll partners, and regulatory stakeholders to resolve specialized HR matters and ensure service quality.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies while serving as a subject matter expert and driving continuous improvement of HR processes and services.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience in HR support, employee relations, HR operations or a related business field
Experience in a tiered shared service model is a plus
Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM), including system administration, troubleshooting, and process support.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including HR, IT, Legal, Compliance, and external service providers.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal); additional local language proficiency may be required depending on the region.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, with advanced HRIS proficiency, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and experience leveraging data and reporting to support decision-making.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality, adaptability, and effective collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
