Job Description

Rockwell Automation is hiring a senior HR Services Specialist to be based in Electronic City, Bengaluru. HR Services is the centralized team that handles essential HR functions for Rockwell Automation. The purpose of the team is to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure consistent HR service delivery. You will be part of this dynamic HR Shared Services team. You will report to Manager – HR Services Center, Asia Pacific.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will receive, route, resolve, and close all RA HR inquiries within their specialty or assignment in an accurate and timely manner. Specialist areas could include: hiring and onboarding, employee data changes, leave of absence administration, accommodation requests, employee separations, global mobility transactions, and local benefit or payroll support.
  • You will provide data entry support when employees are unable to complete activities through the self-service portal in Workday.
  • You will handle escalated requests and provide a proper solution by analysing the problem, the impact on the customer and advising on any appropriate actions.
  • You will collaborate with appropriate HRSC leadership/staff, COE, HRBP or third parties to resolve complex inquiries or transactions.
  • You will use Workday Help tool to capture, track, and follow-up on inquiries; entries used to monitor Measurement trends, track performance, provide feedback, and improve quality.
  • You will perform specific Local Procedures as Onboarding, Offboarding, Benefits Enrollment, Audits (if region requires).
  • You will maintain employee documentation (personnel file creation, retention, and deletion)
  • You will implement process improvement projects to enhance customer experience.
  • You will participate in system testing and identification of system and user interface issues; provide feedback to HRSC leadership.
  • You will educate employees and managers on HR resources available to them and encourage the use self-service tools.
  • You will provide consultation on integrating new acquisitions into our standard HR practices and systems.
  • You will partner with HRBPs/HRGs on business reorganisations to ensure organisational structures are accurate.

The Essentials –

  • You have 10 years of progressive experience in HR Shared services and Operations for a large organisation.
  • You have used Workday or equivalent large HR systems.
  • You have experience in stakeholder management, playing advisory role for stakeholders.
  • You have knowledge of local labour laws, compliance and statutory requirements.
  • You have worked in M&A environment supporting the integration efforts for the organization.
  • You will provide direct support to company employees, other HR groups and company management as part of a centralized function to handle a variety of HR-related transactions.
  • You will receive and respond to requests concerning HR policies/programs.
  • You will route requests from employees to others for additional information.
  • You may respond to practices inquiries through online resources and telephone.
  • You will process several paper and electronic forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire onboarding, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, termination of employment.You will Input employee personal data into human resources information/computer system (HRIS) database and documents activities.
