Description:

The HR Reporting and Analytics Specialist reports to the Chief People Officer of Guy Carpenter (GC), a Marsh business. This is a critical role, enabling the CPO to help shape and deliver the organization’s people strategy. It combines strategy, reporting/analytics, program management and executive partnership to scope and deliver complex, enterprise-wide people initiatives.

The role is a key member of the GC HR Leadership Team and requires discretion, adaptability, and a solutions mindset with a strong focus on execution. Preferred location is New York City.

We will count on you to:

  • Act as the CPO’s strategic partner and primary liaison, translating priorities into actionable plans and driving alignment across HR and the broader enterprise.
  • Lead program and project management for global HR initiatives: define scope, set milestones, monitor timelines, mitigate risks, and deliver regular status reports to senior leaders.
  • Partner with the CPO to design and execute people-strategy workstreams and special projects, from strategy formulation through implementation and measurement of outcomes.
  • Develop and implement an insights-driven HR analytics strategy: define KPIs, oversee data collection and analysis, and surface actionable recommendations for HR and business leaders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing & Communications, CIS, People Experience COEs, etc.) to co-create solutions and ensure integrated deployment.
  • Represent Guy Carpenter on cross-functional and enterprise initiatives as the CPO’s delegate, providing oversight, guidance, and escalation as needed.
  • Produce and present people metrics, trend analyses, and reporting packages for HR leadership, client groups, and the Guy Carpenter Executive Committee, including recommended actions.
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, briefing materials, and communications for internal leadership meetings, external engagements, and committee reviews.
  • Plan and run HR Leadership Team meetings and off-sites: set agendas, compile materials, facilitate sessions, and track follow-up actions and owners.
  • Define and execute the CPO’s communication strategy—establish messaging, cadence, and stakeholder engagement to drive awareness and uptake.

What you need to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in HR reporting/analytics, workforce strategy, HR consulting, or program/project management supporting senior leaders.

What makes you stand out:

  • Ability to simplify the complex and operationalize with consistent execution.
  • Strong ability to flex own style to be both strategic and hands-on when required.
  • Capability to influence with direct and indirect accountability.
  • Solid business acumen with a commercial approach; exceptional business insight and strategic orientation.
  • Delivery orientation with excellent organizational, project management, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to use data to tell a compelling story for a senior audience.
