HR / Recruiting Coordinator
Location: Cerritos, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Onsite
Compensation: 60k DOE
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR / Recruiting Coordinator to support recruiting operations, candidate management, and HR administrative functions. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
The ideal candidate will assist with full-cycle recruiting activities, candidate coordination, onboarding support, and general HR administration while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Support full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and onboarding
- Post job openings on recruiting platforms and job boards
- Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain candidate communication throughout the hiring process
- Manage recruiting databases, ATS systems, and candidate records
- Conduct reference checks and assist with offer coordination
HR Administration
- Support onboarding and new hire documentation processes
- Maintain employee records and HR-related documentation
- Assist with payroll, benefits administration, and employee inquiries as needed
- Support HR compliance and internal policy administration
- Prepare HR reports and recruiting activity updates
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate with internal departments, hiring managers, and external candidates
- Support employee engagement and HR-related projects
- Coordinate orientation sessions and training schedules
- Maintain confidentiality regarding employee and candidate information
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of HR, recruiting, staffing, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ATS or recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or Workable
- Prior staffing agency or corporate recruiting experience
- Understanding of onboarding and HR processes
