Title: HR Project Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

The HR Project Manager is part of the HR PMO and will be responsible for planning, executing and closing HR initiatives by managing project plans, timelines and resources, collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing efficient project management processes to support the broader HR goals.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing projects across multiple business units while adhering to budget, scope, and schedule requirements. You will lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives by driving continuous process improvements and establishing key metrics to monitor and evaluate project performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, ensuring effective timelines, budget management, and resource distribution.
  • Lead and inspire project teams, delegating responsibilities and tracking progress to meet objectives.
  • Foster clear communication and collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement.
  • Anticipate potential risks and challenges, adjusting plans proactively to maintain project momentum.
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs, providing regular and transparent updates to all stakeholders.
  • Schedule and facilitate productive meetings, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Execute seamless delivery of events, communications, and programs as outlined in the People calendar.
  • Manage interdependencies between projects and calendar events for smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Proficiency in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of human resource principles, policies and practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex HR concepts clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Effective engagement and relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working with global cross-functional teams to foster collaboration.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies
     

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2–5 years of project management experience, ideally within People or HR environments.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
