The purpose of this role is to spearhead transformative process improvements within the McCain HR Shared Services Center, striving for exceptional operational excellence, cost efficiency, and team satisfaction. By partnering closely with HR Shared Services leadership, this position ensures that all continuous improvement initiatives are perfectly aligned with the overarching HR strategic goals.
This role involves managing a dynamic demand intake process to assess, prioritize, and develop business cases for new challenges and opportunities. As a functional lead in HR Operations, you will drive continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with both HR and technical teams.
As a champion of change, you will oversee change management for continuous improvement projects within HR operations, ensuring that key performance indicators are effectively measured to verify anticipated returns on investment or identify necessary corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an effective demand intake process for HR, understanding upcoming opportunities and needs, ensuring upfront alignment, and prioritizing continuous improvement initiatives. Assist requesters in properly channeling their improvement requests.
- Maintain a strong partnership with Employee Experience Centre leaders to understand and address problems and opportunities for execution.
- Lead presentations to relevant groups, communicating process steps and the results of decisions to stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary designate for leading both strategic and tactical initiatives related to HR operations to achieve desired improvements.
- Support larger HR technology initiatives or projects as a Subject Matter Expert, aiding in the execution of the technology roadmap.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, develop action plans, complete improved process changes impact assessments, and implement/co-manage business changes with HR functional leaders and their teams.
- Act as an ambassador and change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner with HR Technology Owners to assess feasibility and act as a liaison between the HR Technical Team, HR Shared Services, and Technology Owners.
- Help assess requests and improvements through conversations with process and product owners to ensure they make sense in the global landscape.
- Provide updates for the business and maintain regular communication with stakeholders.
- Engage in discussions with requesters to thoroughly understand their needs.
- Consult with Global Technology team on the feasibility of proposed improvements.
- Partner with the Digital Team and consult on improvements and business support with the HR Portfolio roadmap in mind.
- Collaborate with the Data Owner on access approvals.
- Gather requirements for process improvements and ensure they are well-documented and actionable.
Key Qualifications & Experiences:
- Minimum of 3 years of process improvement experience, preferably in Human Resources.
- Proven track record of achieving results through the application of process improvement methodologies and effective change leadership.
- In-depth understanding of Digital HR solutions such as SuccessFactors and ServiceNow, with experience collaborating with technical teams to drive improvements through technology.
- SuccessFactors and/or ServiceNow certifications are an asset.
- Successful history of business case development, prioritizing recommendations and initiatives supported by data and ROI.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and process modeling tools.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team.
- Passionate about HR Technology and curious about new trends.
- Proactive and extroverted, with a natural ability to engage and inspire others.
- Fluent in English language is a must.
