Position Overview:

This role offers hybrid flexibility with regular onsite presence for meetings, trainings, and key events, primarily across the Sacramento region and additional onsite support at other Sutter Health locations as needed.
Provides preboarding for internal and external hires, monitoring process and progress to ensure candidates that received an offer of employment are accurately and expeditiously cleared to begin employment on agreed start date. Follows-up with selected candidates to ensure timely completion of all required documents and steps, and other applicable job or clearance requirements are met (e.g., rehire eligibility; license, registration, or certifications; state and federal background compliance checks, medical assessments, and completion of I-9 documentation). Provides final clearance to candidate entity HR. This role is responsible for ensuring an excellent preboarding experience through exceptional customer service including prompt communication and following processes for quality and timeliness. Identifies and participates in process improvement activities.

  • HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year of recent relevant Human Resources, Preboarding and/or Recruitment experience required.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and apply human resources/recruitment policies and procedures.
  • Ability to learn and understand new processes or concepts quickly.
  • Demonstrates analytical skills with the ability to recognize issues or questionable information/data.
  • Organization skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to communicate through verbal and written means.
  • Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to complete assignments accurately and timely

Pay Range is $28.85 to $40.39 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
