Job Description

FableticsOS is currently looking for a passionate and experienced HR/People Team Generalist to join our EU People Team, based in Barcelona, Spain. 
How do you fit in?
The HR/People Team Generalist supports employees and managers across our Barcelona, Berlin, and London offices by delivering day-to-day people operations, ensuring compliance, and serving as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries. This role manages core People Operations processes, supports culture and engagement activities, and partners with the Head of People, EU, and global teams to maintain consistent and effective People practices across the region.

What You Will Do?
 

Core People Operations

  • Coordinate monthly payroll for Spain, the UK, and Germany with external providers.

  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS; oversee absence management, vacation tracking, and benefits administration.

  • Prepare and manage employee documentation (contracts, amendments, lifecycle changes).

  • Ensure compliance with Spanish labor law and support UK/Germany compliance through local partners.

  • Improve workflows, documentation, and processes to drive efficiency.

  • Support reporting, dashboards, and basic data analysis for leadership decision-making.

Employee Support & Relations

  • Serve as the first point of contact for questions from employees and managers across Europe.

  • Provide guidance on policies, performance processes, and general employee relations.

  • Support early-stage issue resolution and escalate more complex matters as needed.

People Programs & Coordination

  • Support learning, development, engagement, and performance programs across the region.

  • Assist with people processes such as merit cycles, promotions, and talent reporting.

  • Execute local compliance-related activities and other country-specific requirements.

What You Bring?
 

  • 3–4 years of experience in HR Generalist, People Operations, or People/HR Administration roles.

  • Strong understanding of Spanish labor legislation; familiarity with UK and German practices is a plus, but training will be provided.

  • Experience being the first point of contact for employees and managers.

  • Strong communication skills across cultures and locations.

  • Proficiency in HR administration, payroll coordination, and HRIS systems (Workday a plus).

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • High integrity, discretion, and a people-first mindset.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish; German a plus.
