HR Operations Coordinator (Bilingual Mandarin)

About the RoleThe Company is seeking a detail-oriented HR Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operational processes. This role plays a key part in supporting the employee lifecycle, maintaining HR systems and records, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling confidential information in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Recruiting, Finance, and IT to support employee onboarding, offboarding, and HR documentation processes. You will also help maintain data accuracy within HR systems, assist with compliance-related activities, and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency across the HR function.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and HRIS updates
Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with company policies and applicable laws
Coordinate background checks, I-9 employment verification, and related documentation
Assist with benefits enrollment and respond to employee inquiries
Support HR data integrity and generate routine reports
Assist with payroll data validation and leave tracking
Partner with Recruiting, Finance, and IT to support employee transitions
Support HR compliance activities, audits, and process improvement initiatives
Additional duties may be assigned as business needs require.
Qualifications1–3 years of experience in HR operations, HR coordination, or related administrative role
Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP, or similar platforms)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a technology or high-growth company environment
Familiarity with California employment regulations
