Your new role
As an HR Ops Specialist, you will play an essential role in supporting QuidelOrtho employees and managers in your region. You will support employees by maintaining systems and processes that are critical to providing a great employee experience. You will be the first point of contact for employees (and their managers) in your region, helping them navigate our various HR processes, programs and initiatives. You will join our EMEA HR Operations team and work closely with colleagues in Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and with the Business Partners. For the right person, we may also offer exposure to HR Operations beyond Italy (responsibilities for additional countries will depend on the candidate’s experience and knowledge) and a possibility to get involved in regional activities at the team level.
What you’ll be doing
Own the HR Ops processes for: Pre-hire: Working with TA and BP to produce the necessary documents and checks
• Hire: Working with BP / TR / Manager to provide an induction and onboarding and register for payroll and benefits;
• Employee lifecycle: to provide day to day support and training for P&C queries (including payroll and benefits), HR Systems, and employee data changes.
Respond and resolve requests from employees on all HR matters (Pay & Benefits, Holidays, Absences, Trainings etc.) and escalate issues to other members of the HR team (Business Partner, Payroll, TR, TA), if appropriate.
Partner with our Payroll team and be the main point of contact for submitting monthly instructions for payroll processing and payroll input (salary changes, deductions changes, benefit in kind values changes, shift allowance /overtime data, new joiners, leavers etc) ahead of payroll processing
Execute HR operational processes and services with a focus on employee experience and data integrity
Develop and maintain documentation and guides for manager and employee self-service
Identify and drive process improvement efforts, leveraging HR systems and shared folders to automate, digitalize and eliminate manual work where possible
Support with reporting, dashboards, and metrics to drive decision-making
Assist in audits and compliance reporting
What you’ll need to succeed
University, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent HR (preferred)
3/4 years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS or payroll (ADP would be ideal)
Sound knowledge of multiple HR areas including HRIS, Payroll, Benefits and Compliance
Fluent English; Another European language (French, Spanish) would be a plus
Strong knowledge of Workday system
Advanced user of Word Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in writing, maintaining, and updating policies, procedures and employee guides.
