Your Mission
As a “HR Operations / Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our payroll processes across Belgium and the Netherlands run seamlessly. In this senior-level position, you’ll also be responsible for drafting all labor-related documents and you will be the go-to expert for payroll, compliance, and HR operations, contributing to a smooth employee experience and enabling our business to focus on its core mission. You’ll collaborate close-ly with your HR Operations team of three experienced colleagues, ensuring flawless payroll execution and sup-porting the broader HR function across both countries.
What You'll Do

Payroll Management for the Netherlands and Belgium: Take the lead on payroll for the Netherlands and supporting on the payroll for Belgium. You’ll manage end-to-end payroll, ensuring timely, accurate payments in compliance with local laws. Whether it’s navigating Dutch labor law or managing Belgian tax regulations, you’ll stay on top of all payroll responsibilities.

Drafting of Labor-Related Documents: There is no payroll without legal document and contracts, there-fore you will take ownership of drafting and managing a wide range of labor documents, including em-ployment contracts, addenda, and other HR-related documents, ensuring they are legally sound and aligned with company policies in the countries.

Compliance and Legal Alignment: Ensure that all payroll and HR operations comply with local employ-ment laws, tax regulations, social security requirements and internal company rules and policies. You’ll be the go-to expert in payroll compliance for the Netherlands (and Belgium), working proactively to prevent any legal risks.

Reporting and Data Analytics: Generate payroll reports for Finance and data insights to support deci-sion-making for key stakeholders. Your analytical skills will provide the business with actionable insights, helping to drive continuous improvement in payroll processes.

Employee Relations and Support: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, responding to queries related to payroll, contracts, and other HR-related questions. You’ll ensure timely, clear communi-cation, helping employees understand their compensation and benefits.

What You Bring to the Table?

A HBO- or a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management / HR operations, with a specific focus on the Netherlands payroll system, while also understanding Belgian payroll requirements.

Proven expertise in drafting labor-related documents (contracts, addenda, etc.), ensuring compliance with both Belgian and Dutch labor laws.

Experience working in an international or multinational company environment.

Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, along with advanced proficiency in Excel.

Knowledge of Workday and ADP Celergo are a plus.

Fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch
