The HR Operations Specialist, Americas plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient hire to retire transactions for the employees for the Americas region. This position is responsible for managing a variety of operational HR tasks, such as maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the administration of HR systems. In addition, this role includes a strong focus on HR data analysis and reporting, providing insights that inform decision-making within the HR team and across the business. The HR Operations Specialist, Americas serves as a key point of contact for employees and management regarding HR-related queries and ensures that HR processes are delivered efficiently and accurately.

How will you make an impact?   

  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems. Conduct regular audits of HR data for accuracy between systems. Confirm hire to retire processes are executed efficiently and precisely.
  • Ensure HR processes comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including labor laws and company policies.
  • Assist in the development, documentation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the administration of HR systems such as ADP, ensuring system data is accurate and up to date.
  • Generate HR reports and metrics as required by management to track workforce trends, turnover rates, and other KPIs.
  • Provide recommendations for improving HR processes through system enhancements and automation. Develop dashboards and summary reports to visualize people related metrics for HRBPs and other key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. Utilize data insights to recommend and implement improvements in HR processes.
  • Act as a second level of ticketing support for employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate training sessions with HRBPs to help solidify understanding of operational processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements with HR Operations to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Act as a liaison between HRBPs, Payroll, Benefits, HR Shared Services, and other departments, as needed
  • Provide PMI assistance with HR data migration and process alignment

Have you got what it takes? 

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
    • 1-3 years of experience in HR operations, administration, or a related HR function.
    • Experience working with HR systems and ADP.
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
    • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in a cross functional collaborative environment with groups such as Comp and Ben and Payroll.
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in HR reporting and data analysis.
    • Proficiency in HR software, analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI).
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
