HR Operations Specialist

Vicar's Landing is looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our Human Resources team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the operational side of HR—keeping things organized, supporting employees, administering benefits, working within an HRIS, and making sure the details are handled accurately and on time.
You'll be an important part of a collaborative HR team while owning many of the day-to-day processes that keep HR running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a primary resource for employees with questions about benefits, HR programs, policies, and routine HR matters.
- Manage New Hire Onboarding from offer letter to Day One.
- Manage day-to-day benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, employee questions, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain accurate employee information and process HR transactions within our HRIS.
- Support leave administration, employment changes, and other employee lifecycle processes.
- Prepare routine HR reports and assist with audits and compliance activities.
- Provide additional HR operational support as needed.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of Human Resources experience, with hands-on experience supporting day-to-day HR operations.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to independently manage recurring responsibilities and deadlines.
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a busy, people-focused environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Paycom or a similar HRIS.
- Benefits administration experience is important for this role.
- Experience working in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or another multi-shift environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification.

This is a full-time, onsite position in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
