About the HR Investment Team

The HR Investment Team supports new CANPACK investments around the world, with a particular focus on greenfield projects and new plant launches. The team coordinates employee mobility and HR processes related to the deployment, relocation, and onboarding of employees involved in establishing new operations, helping ensure the successful execution of global expansion projects.

HR Operations Specialist - Investments

The purpose of the role is to support the successful delivery of CANPACK investment projects by administering employee mobility, immigration, and relocation processes. The role coordinates visa and work authorization activities, transfer documentation, travel logistics, and case management to ensure timely deployment of employees, compliance with legal requirements, and a consistent employee experience across locations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Administer mobility and immigration processes by preparing, monitoring, and updating documentation, case data, and trackers to ensure smooth execution of employee transfers, assignments, and visa-related activities.

  • Prepare and issue mobility-related documentation (e.g., invitation letters, letters of intent, assignment and transfer documents for business trips, short term assignments and intercompany transfers) to support timely, consistent, and compliant processing of employee moves and investment projects.

  • Verify immigration and visa documentation for completeness, accuracy, and validity to prevent delays, application rejections, and compliance risks.

  • Coordinate additional legal documentation requirements, including translations, apostilles, notarizations, and other country-specific formalities, to ensure compliance with local immigration and legal regulations.

  • Support visa and immigration administration by collecting required documents, coordinating the process with stakeholders, monitoring deadlines, and updating systems to facilitate timely and compliant employee relocations.

  • Monitor assigned mobility and immigration cases, proactively follow up with employees, managers, local HR teams, and external service providers, identify potential delays or risks, and escalate issues as appropriate to support timely case completion.

  • Coordinate transfer and travel logistics, including accommodation, flights, transportation, and related arrangements, to ensure seamless employee mobility and a positive employee experience.

  • Maintain HR Investment Projects’ records, reports, and databases while supporting related administrative processes, to ensure data accuracy, informed decision-making, and adherence to legal and ethical requirements.

Our expectations:

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in Global Mobility, Immigration, International Assignments, Relocation Services, HR Operations, or a similar field.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Administration, or another relevant field.

  • Experience in a multinational environment and working with international stakeholders will be an advantage.

  • Experience in coordinating documentation, managing multiple cases, maintaining trackers, and supporting employee mobility processes will be an advantage.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, cases, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and data quality.

  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate complex matters when needed.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a professional and confidential approach to handling sensitive information.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook; experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP) is an advantage.

  • Good command of English (minimum B2).
