The HR Operations Partner is a newly created contract role designed to provide dedicated HR operational support for Canada. This is a hands-on role responsible for the integrity of our Canadian HR framework, spanning policy governance, process improvement, and automation to ensure our people practices are globally aligned and built to scale. You will partner closely with both the Canadian and broader North American HR teams to drive consistency and efficiency across our people programs. This is a high-impact individual contributor role suited for someone who can move comfortably between the details of a policy clause and its broader impact on our systems and our people.Responsibilities include:
- Partner with the NAM HR team to complete a full review of all Canadian HR policies, with the goal of standardizing them while ensuring compliance and clarity for employees
- Present policy change recommendations to key stakeholders with clear rationale, risk assessment, and implementation plans
- Establish an annual policy review cycle to keep all documentation current and aligned with global standards
- Partner with legal to review all Canadian employment templates for alignment with current practices, update templates as required, and communicate changes to key stakeholders
- Integrate employment templates into the annual review process to ensure templates remain current.
- Assess existing HR processes and identify opportunities to eliminate manual effort, reduce duplication, and improve employee experience.
- Design and implement scalable, automated solutions in partnership with the NAM HR team
- Own and manage HR knowledge articles on the company intranet
- Lead all required internal and external audits, RFP responses, and reporting requirements
- Coordinate the development and implementation of country-wide shared services across all HR CoEs
Education and Experience
- A minimum of 5+ years of progressive human resources operations experience, ideally within a global matrixed company
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and a commitment to staying current as it evolves
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing HR policies, programs, and processes from end to end
- Strong change management and communication skills, with the ability to bring people along through change
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in reviewing and drafting legislatively sensitive documents
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead projects through to completion without close supervision
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to assess how policy changes impact systems, teams, and workflows
- Ability to use data and information to make sound recommendations and resolve issues using judgment consistent with standard practices, policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable law
- Experience with HRIS platforms and a genuine interest in HR technology and process automation

The expected Compensation for this position is: $37.43- $53.33CAD per hour (+4%)
