What You’ll Do

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Lead the local rollout of our global wellbeing and people strategy, tailoring it to the unique needs of our US team
  • Design and execute engagement initiatives, team events, and recognition programs that build connection, belonging, and motivation
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador — bringing Zenity's values to life in the everyday moments that matter

Office & Site Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our New York office, creating a workspace that's functional, organized, and inspiring
  • Manage vendor relationships, office budgets, travel coordination, and administrative operations with efficiency and care

People Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Own the end-to-end employee journey — from a warm, seamless onboarding experience to thoughtful offboarding
  • Manage HR operations including HRIS data integrity, benefits administration, and US compliance
  • Partner with managers on organizational development, employee relations, and team effectiveness
Requirements
  • 3+ years of HR, People Operations, or related experience — startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred
  • Solid knowledge of US employment practices and compliance requirements
  • A natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a people-first mindset
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Genuine passion for culture-building and creating exceptional employee experiences
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and HR systems (HiBob a plus)
Interview Process

Our interview process is designed to be transparent, conversational, and focused on real-world experience.

  • Recruiter Screen (30-45 minutes) – Learn more about Zenity of course! And we’ll get to know you, including how you collaborate, how you work, and how your values align with ours.
  • Hiring Manager Interview (45–60 minutes) – A deeper conversation about your experience, approach, and how you think about the work.
  • Team Interview (30–45 minutes) – Meet potential teammates and have a conversation with someone who has been owning pieces of this role, giving you an honest look at the work and what it takes to be successful in it.
  • Department Head Interview (45 minutes in-person) - A conversation with our Chief of Staff about the bigger picture, where we're headed, and how this role fits into it.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this role is $105,000–$120,000 depending on experience, skills, and location. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for equity and performance-based incentives.
