What does the role look like?
The HR Operations Lead is a senior, builder responsible for standing up and scaling the HR operations function across the organization. The role directly owns HR operations for the Cyprus office , service delivery, benefits, HRIS data, and compliance , while providing international coordination and oversight across Dubai, Poland, Uk and other
locations. Core focus areas include service delivery, documentation and compliance, benefits administration, data integrity and reporting, and process improvement. The role reports to the Group Head of HR and serves as the single point of accountability for HR operations being consistent, well-governed, and reliable across the Group.
Ideal Candidate:
A builder personality , driven, results-oriented, and tech-savvy, with a genuine interest in modernizing how HR work gets done, including through AI and automation. Comfortable owning execution directly in Cyprus while coordinating and holding the line internationally. Someone who can take a function from good to great and own the operational backbone end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations Leadership & Service Delivery

  • Establish clear service delivery standards, ownership, and escalation paths across the function.
  • Own HR operations directly for the Cyprus office, while coordinating with local HR contacts and providers internationally to ensure consistent execution and compliance with the Group's ways of working; own specific processes or entities directly where needed.
  • Escalate risks, resourcing gaps, and data quality issues and report on operational status across the Group to the Head of HR (Group) on a regular cadence.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Own the full paperwork lifecycle across all entities and employment types — full-time employees, contractors, and other engagement models — from drafting through signature and storage.
  • Support compliance activities, audits, background checks, and data security reviews; maintain policy documentation in alignment with local labor law in each entity, in coordination with Legal.

Benefits Administration

  • Set up, administer, and maintain benefits programs in each entity, liaising directly with local providers and brokers.
  • Track benefits spend and coverage by entity; identify and flag gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Support the annual benefits audit and the transition toward a unified, Group-wide benefits approach.

Data Integrity & Reporting

  • Own high standards for employee data and document accuracy and completeness across the HRIS, including maintaining a single contract and document warehouse with complete, audit-ready employee files.
  • Support HR audits and compliance by maintaining precise, up-to-date records.
  • Develop and monitor operational metrics and dashboards to track HR operations performance.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Drive process transformation through standardization and automation.
  • Identify and implement improvements to HR operations workflows, documentation, and employee self-service, applying technology and automation — while maintaining privacy, governance, and human oversight.
  • Prepare and validate people-related inputs for payroll (new hires, leavers, changes, leave) ahead of each payroll cycle, in coordination with HR Operations.
  • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, and Finance on payroll exceptions, compensation and benefits documentation, and special HR projects as required.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in HR Operations, HRIS, People Operations, or a related HR function, preferably in a global environment.
  • Strong HRIS experience.
  • Strong analytical, auditing, dashboard management, and reporting skills, including experience creating recurring and ad hoc reports.
  • Understanding employment laws, HR compliance requirements, data security practices, and policy administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Cypriot labor law.
  • Experience with process design, workflow optimization, documentation, and continuous improvement within HR Operations.
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Skills Required
