Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service to new hires and stakeholders by efficiently managing onboarding activities and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
- Collaborate with HR teams and business units to coordinate onboarding logistics, including documentation, benefits enrollment and induction program.
- Conduct background checks and due diligence on new employees, in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements (including MAS Guidelines on Fit and Proper Criteria and the Representative Notification Framework).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems, promptly addressing discrepancies to support analytics and reporting.
- Manage sales licensing and compliance-related transactions for new hires, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor onboarding activities and notify relevant internal/external authorities of changes to personal particulars or regulated activities, as required.
- Provide prompt support and advisory in other employee lifecycle activities and queries.
- Support audits, compliance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and user experience.
Requirements
- Recognized tertiary qualification, with 2–3 years of relevant experience in HR operations or shared services preferred.
- Familiarity with employment regulations, MAS Guidelines on Fit and Proper Criteria and the Representative Notification Framework is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Meticulous, organized, and process-oriented, with the ability to operate within tight timelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player who can also work independently.
- Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
