HR Operations Coordinator - Contractor

At Tenstorrent, we’re building the next generation of compute—and that includes building a high-performing People team to support our growth. We’re looking for an HR Operations Coordinator to support our operations. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role ideal for someone early in their HR career who’s eager to learn, grow, and get exposure to the full employee lifecycle at a fast-paced company.

This role is Onsite, based out of Austin, TX. 

We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions—triaging, resolving, or escalating as needed.
• Own and process employee lifecycle changes (onboarding, offboarding, job changes, etc.) with accuracy and speed.
• Manage HRIS data changes and support change management efforts as our systems and processes evolve.
• Coordinate physical mail and document operations as part of global HR workflows.
• Partner cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Facilities to keep the engine running.
• Support audits, reporting, and special projects as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:

• You have 1–3 years of HR or People Operations experience.
• You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and organized—even when things move quickly.
• You’re comfortable with ambiguity and love to build as you go.
• You care about the employee experience and want to be part of a team that’s always improving it.
• You’re tech-savvy and ready to learn HR systems (experience with Rippling is a bonus).

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
