The Role

This hands-on, high visibility HR Operations/AskHR Continuous Improvement Lead role will relentlessly lead and drive a strong continuous improvement culture by implementing an infrastructure which identifies, measures, and audits the quality of services delivered by the HR Operations/AskHR team using effective strategies and tactical plans, remaining aligned to the business strategy and enables the company to achieve business goals, meet customer demands and deliver successful business results.

Here’s What You will Do

  • Lead operational excellence, optimize, and scale all aspects of HR Operations/AskHR globally with a deep focus on employee experience and continuous improvement.
  • Drive efforts to establish and implement the continuous improvement strategy for HR Operations service delivery model, including case management, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer satisfaction, shared services processes & standard operating procedures, and a roadmap for enabling technology and solutions (e.g. web chat, genAI, etc.) that enhances the employee experience with HR
  • Lead the HR Operations knowledge management program that ensures teams deliver value-added HR service to the business requiring business acumen, creative thinking, and a desire to differentiate the manager & employee experience with HR at FMC every day; includes establishing effective strategies and tactical plans to drive knowledge skills and capability building of the team, content development, training delivery and ongoing maintenance of content in the Knowledge Management System (KMS)
  • Oversee the HR audit & compliance activities to ensure compliance with HR internal controls, policies, procedures and all applicable employment and labor laws/regulations; serve as point of contact with internal and external stakeholders for audit reviews
  • Proactively develop strong ongoing partnerships with the peers, HR business partners, COEs and cross-functional teams on identifying continuous improvement opportunities and effective utilization of HR systems & solutions to solve issues that help improve the employee and customer experience.
  • Understand every aspect of the business and be a thought leader on HR continuous improvement topics, helping to define consistent HR services and champion optimized HR systems and solutions at FMC that results in a superior employee and manager experience.
  • Work independently under the direction of the Head of Global HR Operations and provide support coverage of responsibilities (as needed) during absences

Here’s What You Will Need (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Human Resources (at least 2-3 in a lead role)

Here’s What You Will Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to nuance communications for different audiences.
  • Experience driving operational efforts (leading direct reports or leading project teams is beneficial) - includes collaborating with HR business partners, COEs and/or third-party vendors supporting HR services.
  • Proven experience with Excel and PowerPoint to influence decision-making and provide compelling story telling.
  • Experience with Workday covering various functional areas/modules (e.g. core HCM, recruiting/hiring & onboarding, performance management, etc.). Experience with HR shared services and using enabling technologies such as case management and knowledge management solutions is a plus.
