The Human Resources Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Operations department: including new hire onboarding, employee offboarding, employee inquiries, benefits administration, and general workplace operations.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Human Resources Analyst will have the following responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:
- Facilitating the hiring and onboarding process for multiple employee types; delivering positive candidate and employee experiences as well as successful communication and coordination with internal teammates and hiring managers
- Maintaining employee information within HR systems
- Analyzing data and providing recommendations to Human Resources team
- Auditing and reviewing employee file documentation for compliance and proper storage
- Advocating for continuous improvement of human resources and interdepartmental processes that result in a positive employee experience, legal compliance, and internal efficiency
- Advising and executing on process improvements within the HR team
- Creating and maintaining SOPs and employee facing documentation
- Providing administrative support to departmental leadership team
- Providing support to employees across the organization on a variety of matters
- Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary
- Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims
- 3+ years’ experience working in a human resources team required and with HR compliance
- Workday experience a plus
- Self-starter who pays attention to the details, works well under pressure and has ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assess problems and ask meaningful and relevant questions to understand the issues and potential causes
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Position is remote
- Occasional travel up to 5% of the time
