As Guidepoint’s Human Resources Manager located in our office in Singapore, supporting both Singapore and Australia, you will embrace the opportunity to shape a high-performing organization, using your sound ideas and management skills to ensure that HR initiatives and services are aligned with business objectives and are delivered effectively to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with business leaders across Singapore and Australia on workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
- Provide strategic HR business partnering support to leaders on employee engagement, retention, performance management, and organizational development matters
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and conflict resolution
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a timely and fair manner
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and productivity
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance-related issues
- Ensure that performance reviews are conducted regularly and align with company goals
- Identify training needs across the organization and develop appropriate training programs
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars
- Ensure that the company complies with all local employment laws and regulations across Singapore and Australia
- Coordinate with local payroll provider and Head of Global Payroll on monthly payroll changes
- Manage all the office administration, such as employee snack programs, coordinate employee events and related vendor controls
- Prepare regular reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, organisational charts and internal mobility
- Conduct regular market analysis to benchmark salaries and benefits
What You Have:
- A degree from a 4+ year university
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR practices; familiarity with Australian employment regulations is highly desirable
- Minimum of 4 years as an HR Manager or higher, focused on performance management, onboarding, and exit processes
- Proficient in HRIS management
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- The willingness to work autonomously in a fast-paced international environment
- An internal consultant mindset, with proven experience to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proven excellence in project management skills: prioritizing workload, planning and organizing, demonstrating high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and professional delivery
