As HR Manager at elev8.io, you’ll serve as a strategic partner to leadership and the driving force behind our People Operations infrastructure. You’ll help shape an environment where top talent thrives, ensuring that every team member — whether employee or contractor — is set up for success from day one.
This role blends strategic collaboration with hands-on execution, supporting the full HR ecosystem: recruitment support, onboarding, engagement, performance enablement, and offboarding. You’ll work closely with cross-functional leaders to align people initiatives with elev8.io’s business goals, ensuring that our teams remain motivated, high-performing, and deeply connected to our mission.

Core ResponsibilitiesPeople Operations & Leadership Partnership- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring people strategies align with organizational goals and performance outcomes.
- Implement and oversee HR policies, compliance, and workforce administration across multiple markets.
- Manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employment documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
- Support compensation reviews, incentive plans, and career progression frameworks that promote fairness and motivate high performance.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to support recruitment and selection processes, ensuring timely hires and strong alignment between candidates and company culture.
- Maintain visibility into headcount planning, hiring timelines, and workforce forecasting, providing insights to inform business and capacity planning.
- Design and manage structured onboarding programs that integrate new hires effectively into their teams and the elev8 culture.
- Oversee offboarding and transition processes, conducting exit interviews and capturing insights for continuous improvement. As well as creating the respective SOPs to make sure all legal aspects are covered.
- Design and oversee quarterly performance management cycles — including scorecards, reviews, and 1:1 conversations.
- Foster a feedback-driven culture that reinforces elev8.io’s values of ownership, speed, and excellence.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that promote recognition, belonging, and long-term commitment.
- Partner with Marketing and Leadership to amplify elev8.io’s employer brand, showcasing culture, achievements, and employee stories across internal and external channels.
- Optimize elev8.io’s HR tech ecosystem (Rippling, ClickUp, Time Doctor) for operational efficiency and transparency.
- Provide data insights and reporting on key HR metrics — including turnover, engagement, time-to-fill, and cost per hire — to guide business decisions.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Colombian labor law and international workforce regulations.
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations, ideally in digital marketing, agency, or tech startups.
- Strong understanding of Colombian labor law and HR best practices for distributed teams.
- Experience leading performance management systems and designing HR frameworks.
- Proficiency with HR tools, ATS/HRIS, and project management platforms (ClickUp, Notion, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1+) and Spanish.
- Strategic mindset with a bias for action and accountability.
