Job Description
We are in search of a proactive and expert HR Field Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team on a partial parental cover basis from March 2025 to December 2025. The successful candidate will act as a crucial link between People managers, Business leaders and Work Councils Representatives. This role demands a combination of strategic insight and operational excellence, with a strong focus on employee relations, compliance, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary contact for employees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Management Support: Extend HR mentorship and support to internal management on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Encouraging and sustaining positive relationships with work councils and union representatives, ensuring alignment with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and support strategic objectives.
- Conflict Resolution: Assist managers in mediating and resolving workplace conflicts fairly and consistently, encouraging a positive and productive work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- HR Metrics: Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions for improving employee engagement and organizational performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, labor relations, and compliance.
- Knowledge: Proven understanding of employment laws, labor relations, and established methodologies in HR.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees, management, and union representatives.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions:
