Leidos is currently seeking an HR Manager to join our best-in-class HR team to partner with the Digital Modernization Sector and the DISA IT Business Area.
Primary Responsibilities:
The HR Manager will lead Human Resources for the DECO (GSMO II) and DEIM (DES) divisions which are comprised of nearly 1500 employees. DISA IT delivers enterprise IT services and advanced technology solutions to provide an improved user experience and enhanced mission capabilities for the Defense Information Systems Agency and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies in the U.S. and abroad.
This role is an exciting opportunity to partner with a dynamic and diverse business in the design and delivery of talent solutions in a fast-paced environment. The HR Manager will lead a small team of Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) and will partner with program leadership to develop the strategy to better attract, retain, develop and deploy talent to drive performance and growth. The position will require the development of strong working relationships and utilization of strong business acumen and leadership to effectively diagnose and address objectives on existing and new initiatives, providing an opportunity to work with multiple business functions and to shape HR solutions to meet needs. The selected leader will lead a Sector level initiative and get involved with projects outside current scope of work. The HR Manager will work with business leaders to identify business needs and will implement solutions to continually improve organizational performance and will assist with implementation of initiatives and projects initiated by the enterprise. The incumbent in the role can expect to partner with their client groups in areas of focus such as: - Talent Strategy - Employee Engagement and Culture - Talent Acquisition - Performance Management - Employee Relations - Talent Development - Inclusion and Diversity- Organizational Change Management.
The ideal candidate will be located in the Reston, VA area, however this position is open to candidates in other areas or remote.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Generally has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects. Experience working with management of all levels, to include first-level supervisors all the way through to senior-level management.
- Broad HR expertise with strong project management and organizational skills with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
- Strong follow through to drive solutions through implementation. Strong verbal and written communication and consultation skills with ability to distill complex issues into briefings for the team.
- Strong business acumen with an ability to diagnose and support data-driven decision-making
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel sporadically as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current or previous Leidos experience a plus

Pay Range:Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
