Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and leading all HR functions with a strong focus on people-centric strategies. This role will be the key point of contact for all GJTH HR activities and will be a key member of GJTH Management Team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for people, demonstrated by their ability to build strong relationships, support employee well-being, and drive engagement initiatives. Additionally, the HR Manager will work closely with leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals, manage employee relations, and contribute to a vibrant company culture that values and empowers every team member.

Please note that the role is based at Georg Jensen Thailand’s manufacturing facility in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor global HR policies and processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

  • Provide guidance to GJTH management and support on employee relations

  • Ensure effective employee and community communication

  • Maintain good relationships with external stakeholders, government authorities. These include Thai labor department, immigration, social security, skill development center and local municipality.

  • Provide employee support services and counseling.

  • Maintain high standard of employee’s welfare, wellness health, working conditions, amenities such as canteen, restroom, medical assistance , education, recreation facilities

  • Ensure effective on boarding and exit processes.

  • Training & Development Co-ordination.

  • Compliance with Thai Labor Standards.

  • Company CSR activities co-ordination.

  • Responsible for internal communication on HR related topics

  • Oversee general affairs and administrative function

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in factory HR management, particularly within an international company

  • BA in Human Resources Management/ Political Science / Public Administration or related fields, MBA or MA will be an advantage

  • Preferably experience in manufacturing environment with various employee groups.

  • Experience in working in an international company with matrix structure.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills; listening and presentation skills.

  • Highly organized, focused, and motivated to work in a dynamic international setting.

  • Collaborative and solution-oriented, excelling in teamwork.

  • Excellent people leadership and influencing skills

  • Knowledge in Thai Labor Law and other employee related legislation v Excellent communication skills

  • Proficiency English and Thai as daily working languages – excellent verbal and written skills required

  • Leadership & Analytical and Critical Thinking
