ABOUT THE ROLE


We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Human Resources leader to support approximately 450 employees across the Lennox Commercial HVAC business. Leading a team of two HR Generalists, this role serves as the steward of the business's people and talent agenda, partnering with leaders to develop and execute strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, business performance, and the attraction, development, engagement, and retention of top talent.


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being a trusted advisor, leading through change, improving processes, and translating HR strategy into practical solutions that make a meaningful impact for employees and the business.

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner  and coach to business leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, corrective action, labor relations, and other people-related matters.
  • Lead and support change management efforts that help teams navigate business priorities, organizational changes, and HR initiatives successfully.
  • Own and drive the talent agenda, including succession planning, leadership development, talent reviews, high-potential development, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Look for ways to improve HR processes, programs, and service delivery, then develop practical recommendations and lead implementation efforts that support the business and enhance the employee experience.
  • Manage cross-functional HR projects from planning through execution, ensuring clear timelines, stakeholder alignment, strong follow-up, and successful implementation.
  • Coach, develop, and lead a team of HR professionals, helping them deliver effective HR support while ensuring programs are aligned with business needs and applicable employment laws and standards.
  • Drive employee engagement strategies and action planning efforts by identifying insights, addressing organizational challenges, and partnering with leaders to build a high-performance culture.
  • Leverage data, trends, and workforce analytics to diagnose organizational challenges, influence decisions, and develop proactive people strategies that improve business outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 8 years of related Human Resources experience.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategies to business objectives and operational performance.
  • Experience supporting distribution, field sales, or similar business groups is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment regulations and HR best practices.
  • Experience working through a variety of employee relations matters with sound judgment, professionalism, and care.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, encourage open communication, and help resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project leadership, organizational skills, prioritization, and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive work to completion.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $112,000 - $147,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
