Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager to join the Data Center Power and Control Division Team in Anaheim, CA. The HR Manager is responsible for providing HR business partnership and thought leadership while managing all human resources activities for the site, supporting business goals for increased growth and supporting employees and leaders in all areas of HR.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain positive employee relations with salaried and hourly workforce by counseling, mentoring, and problem solving with management and associates on matters of discipline, motivation, compensation, development, or other factors affecting job success.
  • Respond to employee requests for information on HR related matters.
  • Assist with the development of policies, practices and procedures as it relates to Human Resources and communicate effectively to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all areas of HR responsibilities to ensure they are compliant with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Deploy and manage workforce planning to align with business strategy and collaborate with talent acquisition partners to fill open positions.
  • Collaborate with divisional HR team to enhance employee experience efforts and ensure employees are effectively assimilated into the business through orientation, deploying new leader assimilation process and partnering with managers to develop a robust development and training plan.
  • Champion the performance management process by monitoring activity to ensure each component is completed on a timely basis.
  • Coach managers on conducting meaningful goal setting, development and performance feedback discussions, assists with crafting a clear and defensible message to employees with performance related issues.
  • Manage the performance and development of direct reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.
     
Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field of study.
     

Experience:

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience is required, with at least 2 years in a Business Partnership role is required.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred.

  • Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus to extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information.
  • Must be able to maintain an energetic and positive style that takes pride in ownership.
  • Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment and matrix organization.
  • Must have solid business acumen and understanding of a variety of functional areas within the business.
  • Must be able to balance needs of people within the framework of business needs of the business.
  • A solid project management and process-oriented mindset is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse, dynamic environment in an autonomous fashion is required.
  • In depth understanding of state and federal employment regulations is required.
  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills and ability to pay close attention to detail and ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to evaluate situations, identify options and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently is required.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Salary Range: $120,000-$135,000/annually
