HR Manager

Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry | Manitowoc, WI

Help build great leaders. Strengthen great teams. Shape the future of manufacturing.

People are at the heart of everything we do.

We're looking for an experienced HR Manager who wants more than policies and paperwork. This is an opportunity to become a trusted advisor to leaders, influence business decisions, solve complex employee challenges, and help create a workplace where people can do their best work.

You'll support three growing businesses:

  • Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry
  • Manitowoc Pattern & Machining
  • All American 1930 Consumer Products

If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoy coaching leaders, and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves on the production floor, we'd love to meet you.

Every day is different—but your impact will be clear.

You'll:

  • Partner with plant leadership to solve business challenges through people strategies
  • Coach supervisors and managers on leadership, performance, communication, and employee development
  • Lead employee relations investigations with fairness, consistency, and sound judgment
  • Drive recruiting and onboarding efforts to attract exceptional talent
  • Support workforce planning and succession planning
  • Analyze HR metrics like turnover, attendance, and engagement to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Champion employee engagement, culture, and continuous improvement across multiple locations

You're someone who enjoys building relationships, tackling challenges, and helping leaders succeed. You know that great HR is about balancing people and business, and you're comfortable making tough decisions with fairness and integrity.

You'll likely be a great fit if you have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations, or a related field
  • Five or more years of progressive HR experience as a Generalist, Business Partner, or similar role
  • Experience navigating employee relations issues and conducting workplace investigations
  • A solid understanding of employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, and Workers' Compensation
  • Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with an HRIS (Paycom is a plus!)

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Manufacturing or industrial experience
  • Experience working in a union environment
  • Supported multiple locations or business units

At Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, we don't believe HR belongs behind a desk. We believe HR should be on the plant floor, partnering with leaders, building relationships, solving problems, and helping people succeed.

When you join our team, you'll have a seat at the table. Your ideas will matter, your expertise will be valued, and your work will have a direct impact on our employees, our leaders, and the future of our business.

We're proud of what we make—but we're even prouder of the people who make it happen. If you're looking for an HR role where you can influence change, develop leaders, and make a difference every day, we'd love to meet you. Apply today and help us continue building a workplace where great people—and great leaders—thrive.
