We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to support our Dallas Processing Center. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with Operations leaders and employees, brings sound judgment to complex employee matters, and can balance compassion with accountability.

The HR Manager is the sole onsite HR support for their location. The Dallas HR Manager serves as a trusted HR partner for the Dallas facility and our Customer Service Department. This support includes employee relations, performance management, investigations, compliance, leadership coaching, and hands-on staffing support. The role requires someone who can move comfortably between sensitive employee matters and high-volume recruiting coordination, while maintaining strong follow-through, professionalism, and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and will know how to build credibility with both hourly employees and site leadership. The HR Manager must be able to calmly navigate difficult conversations, identify risk, document concerns appropriately, and partner with HR leadership before taking action on sensitive matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staffing, Recruiting & Onboarding Support
  • Partner with operations leaders to support staffing needs, workforce planning, and hiring priorities.
  • Manage the recruiting process, including job postings, candidate communication, interview coordination, and hiring follow-up.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities, onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation.
  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking and HR records while delivering a positive candidate experience.

Employee Relations & Investigations

  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employee relations matters.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and prepare clear, objective documentation and recommendations.
  • Ensure employment actions are consistent, well-documented, and compliant with company policies.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk employee issues as appropriate.

Performance Management & Corrective Action

  • Coach leaders on performance management, corrective action, attendance, conduct, and employee development.
  • Review HR documentation for consistency, fairness, and compliance.
  • Support managers in addressing employee concerns through timely, respectful, and effective communication.

HR Partnership with Operations

  • Build strong relationships with leaders and employees across the facility.
  • Provide practical HR guidance that supports business objectives while maintaining compliance.
  • Identify workforce trends and recommend solutions related to staffing, engagement, performance, and employee relations.

Compliance & Policy Administration

  • Interpret and apply company policies consistently.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain confidential HR records and partner with Payroll, Benefits, Safety, and HR leadership as needed.

Onboarding, Engagement & Employee Support

  • Lead new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure employees understand company policies, expectations, and available resources.
  • Serve as a trusted HR resource for employee questions and workplace concerns.
  • Promote a positive employee experience through responsive communication and follow-through.

HR Systems & Administrative Excellence

  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation using Paycom or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Ensure HR processes, documentation, and employment records are timely, organized, and complete.
  • Prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Base Salary
$75,000 - $80,000/yr. This range reflects the good-faith hiring base salary range for this position. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience with expertise in employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations.
  • Experience supporting hourly employees in warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, retail, logistics, or similar operational environments.
  • Knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and workplace investigations.
  • Strong ability to coach leaders, manage sensitive employee issues, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Excellent written communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote management structure.
  • Experience balancing employee relations with high-volume hourly recruiting and staffing.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms (Paycom preferred), Microsoft Office, and AI-enabled workplace tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Experience supporting multi-shift operations.
  • Experience partnering with operations, safety, payroll, and benefits teams.

Work Environment

This role is based on-site in a warehouse environment. The HR Manager will spend time both in an office setting and on the warehouse floor. The position may require flexibility to support multiple shifts, employee meetings, investigations, or urgent operational needs.
