Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
1. HRM, HRD, GA & Employee Relations Management
- Oversee, manage, and deploy HRM, HRD, General Affairs, and Employee Relations policies and practices in alignment with business objectives, local regulations, and Prysmian standards.
- Lead, supervise, and monitor the performance of the HR/GA team to ensure effective execution of HR operations and service delivery.
- Act as a key HR representative in managing employee relations matters, including employee concerns, disciplinary cases, grievances, and workplace issues.
- Manage labor union relationships and support constructive industrial relations practices. Experience in labor union management is an advantage.
2. Payroll, Compensation, Benefits & Welfare Management
- Manage and review payroll processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, confidentiality, and compliance with statutory and company requirements.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, welfare, and employee relations practices to ensure fairness, consistency, and compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Monitor payroll, welfare, and benefits administration to ensure effective governance and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve payroll, benefits, and employee welfare matters efficiently.
3. Performance Management
- Manage the employee performance evaluation process and performance management system to ensure fair, consistent, and objective assessment.
- Support managers in setting performance objectives, conducting performance reviews, and managing performance improvement actions.
- Ensure performance management practices are aligned with business goals, company policy, and Prysmian requirements.
- Provide guidance to management on performance-related employee issues and documentation.
4. Training & Development
- Manage the company training and development plan in alignment with business needs, competency requirements, and employee development priorities.
- Ensure training plans and records comply with the requirements of the Department of Skill Development (DSD) and other relevant regulations.
- Coordinate training needs analysis, training implementation, effectiveness evaluation, and reporting.
- Support leadership and capability development initiatives to strengthen organizational performance.
5. Employee Activities, Labor Relations & HR Law Compliance
- Manage company activities and employee engagement programs to support morale, communication, and a positive workplace culture.
- Handle labor union matters, employee relations cases, and relevant labor regulations in a professional and compliant manner.
- Ensure company practices comply with Thai labor laws, company rules and regulations, and internal HR policies.
- Advise management on HR law, employee relations risks, and appropriate mitigation actions.
6. General Affairs, Facility & Workplace Management
- Manage company facilities and workplace services to ensure operational efficiency, employee convenience, safety, occupational health, and legal compliance.
- Oversee general affairs functions, including canteen, cleaning services, maid services, security guard services, transportation or other employee support services where applicable.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to maintain service quality, workplace standards, and compliance requirements.
- Support initiatives to improve workplace environment, plant facilities, cleanliness, safety, and overall employee experience.
7. Management Support & Employee Issue Resolution
- Assist and support Top Management in reviewing and making final considerations on employee-related matters.
- Provide professional HR advice and recommendations on employee issues, disciplinary actions, labor relations matters, and organizational concerns.
- Ensure employee-related decisions are made fairly, consistently, and in compliance with applicable laws, company policy, and Prysmian standards.
8. Code of Conduct & Compliance
- Manage and promote employee compliance with the company’s Code of Conduct, Prysmian policies, and ethical standards from headquarters.
- Ensure employees understand and comply with company rules, policies, compliance requirements, and expected workplace behavior.
- Support communication, training, monitoring, and follow-up actions related to Code of Conduct compliance.
- Work with management to reinforce a culture of integrity, accountability, respect, and compliance across the organization.
9. Cross-Location Coordination
- Ensure alignment of HR practices and priorities across Rayong and Bangkok locations
- Collaborate closely with Bangkok-based stakeholders to support business and HR initiatives
- Travel regularly to Bangkok office, approximately 2 days per week, to ensure effective coordination and business support
- Ensure consistency of HR communication, policies, employee practices, and service standards across locations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years of progressive HR experience within a manufacturing and/or multinational environment
- Proven experience in industrial relations, union management, and employee relations
- Experience in preparing HR management plans, workforce plans, training plans, and HR reports
- Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, and manpower planning
- Experience overseeing payroll, HR operations, employment compliance, visa and work permit processes
- Experience managing employee welfare, engagement, communication, and wellbeing initiatives
- Exposure to plant-based employee services such as canteen, security, cleaning services, facility coordination, and workplace environment improvement is preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving capabilities]
In-depth knowledge of Thai labor laws, industrial relations practices, and employment compliance requirements
Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset, particularly in payroll, workforce data, HR reporting, and employment trends
Good understanding of employee welfare, workplace services, and plant environment expectations
Strong communication skills with ability to engage employees at all levels
Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing, unionized, and multinational environment
Fluency in Thai and English.
