Who we are looking for:
We have the opportunity for an HR Manager to lead our HR service delivery to Wilhelmsen employees located in the Philippines. This includes the delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle according to business expectations, as well as driving continuous improvement to ways of working.
Our ideal candidate will have a background of managing HR service delivery, of working as a HR business partner and experience in driving improvements to local HR practices, including through the use of digital tools (e.g. Workday, ServiceNow HR). Experience of working in shared services and the maritime industry are also an advantage.
You will report to the HR Director, North Asia in China and be part of a regional and global community of HR managers.

What you will work on:
- Ensure effective delivery of local HR services according to customer SLAs, KPIs and general expectations, as well as compliance with local laws and practices
- Effectively lead local HR resources to ensure right levels of capacity, competence and employee engagement
- Ensure correct and timely execution / follow-up of all local HR-related administrative tasks (e.g. HR data, personnel files, payroll, benefits, pension, insurances, leave, local employee handbook etc).
- Act as HR business partner for business stakeholders on relevant aspects of the HR / people agenda
- Engage with managers on local recruitment agenda, including attraction, employer branding as well as delivering recruitment processes
- Provide advice on topics related to local compensation and reward decisions, including salary benchmarks
- Support, coaching and follow-up on implementation of key annual people processes across the business (e.g. performance, compensation, engagement, succession planning etc)
- Drive improvements to local HR set-up, tools and ways of working to meet local requirements and business expectations
- Participate in global initiatives to improve HR policies, processes and tools
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, processes and laws related to occupational health
- Provide local advice and support implementation of organization development initiatives in the business, including restructuring and M&A projects
Qualifications you have for this role:
- Bachelor degree, preferably from Human Resource Management / business administration or equivalent.
- At least 3-4 years relevant work experience within HR
- Understanding of HR processes and tools, and knowledge of Philippines labour law and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and cooperate with employees and managers on all levels of our organisation.
- Comfortable with digital technology and solutions supporting HR and people processes
- Good communication skills and command of the English language (oral and written)
- Good influencing skills with ability to facilitate discussions between multiple stakeholders
- Structured, accurate, service-minded and pro-active
- High ethical standards
