Job Description

HR Manager, Motion and Energy

The HR Manager for the Motion and Energy (MOEN) Business Unit will oversee and drive HR processes, policies, and strategic initiatives to support business objectives. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented HR professional who can partner with leaders, drive organizational effectiveness, and ensure HR standardization across the U.S. footprint.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for the Motion and Energy Business Unit, supporting HR processes across sub-business units as needed.
  • Remotely support HR functions for global functional staff within the organization.
  • Align HR strategies with business objectives to ensure effective workforce planning, staffing models, and organizational structure optimization.
  • Guide leaders on talent management, succession planning, performance management, and pay-for-performance to enhance managerial effectiveness.
  • Act as a change management leader, equipping managers to navigate and drive organizational change successfully.

HR Operations & Process Optimization

  • Drive standardization and efficiency in HR policies, processes, and best practices across the U.S. footprint.
  • Ensure the Workday HR system accurately reflects organizational structure changes, working closely with business leaders.
  • Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality while managing employee records and HR systems.
  • Support organization development activities for the executive population, ensuring alignment with leadership development initiatives.

Training & Development

  • Develop and deliver training materials for managers on HR processes, organizational development, and Workday system training.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by engaging internal partners to address systemic HR opportunities.

Special Projects & Initiatives

  • Lead and/or participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned to drive strategic HR impact.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a global organization.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented and matrixed environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Technical proficiency in Workday and Microsoft applications is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure data accuracy in handling employee information.
  • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset, demonstrating initiative in HR leadership.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
