HR Manager – Automation
Location: Laxå, Sweden
ESAB is a global leader in welding and cutting technologies with a long tradition of innovation and business excellence. Within our Automation organization, we are building a strong and future-ready HR function to support continued growth and performance.
We are now looking for a HR Manager – Automation to act as a strategic HR partner for our Automation organization in Europe, with primary responsibility for our site in Laxå. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leaders and employees to strengthen engagement, develop talent and drive change.
Your responsibilities:
Act as a strategic HR partner supporting business objectives across the Automation organization
Support the operations team out of Laxå
Develop and implement HR strategies with the Senior HR Director – Global Products
Partner within the global HR network
Manage employee relations according to Swedish labor law (MBL, negotiations, salary reviews)
Support talent acquisition, performance management and succession planning
Drive learning and development initiatives
Maintain HR systems and data (Workday)
Provide HR reporting and insights
Ensure compliance with European labor law and internal policies
Your profile:
At least bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field
Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken (mandatory)
Minimum 5 years of HR experience
At least 2 years in a strategic HR role
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Experience in multinational or matrix organizations
Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Analytical, proactive and adaptable mindset
High integrity and professional judgment
