As HR Manager, you will partner with the Site Manager of our Prudhoe site, to develop and implement a people and organizational development strategy that aligns with our business goals, focusing on skill development. This pivotal role involves leading change initiatives and engaging all employees in the process. You will be part of the site leadership team and report to the HR Director (UK & ROI), collaborating with colleagues across the UK to share best practices and implement global HR strategies. You will oversee an HR Advisor and Occupational Health Nurse, supported by a Global Business Services (GBS) HR Administrator.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the HR business partnering model to provide proactive strategic and operational support.
  • Address industrial relations and organizational challenges effectively.
  • Manage talent and succession planning to nurture internal talent.
  • Ensure fairness, equity, inclusiveness, and diversity throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Ensure all managers and staff uphold principles of fairness, equity, inclusiveness and diversity across the employee life cycle
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition colleagues to help build the employer brand proposition and attract top talent

Who You Are

You are an experienced HR professional, qualified to CIPD Level 7 or equivalent, with a background in leadership and strategic development, ideally in a unionized manufacturing environment. This front-facing leadership role requires operational and strategic effectiveness.

You will coach and advise senior stakeholders, management, and production supervisors on organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and performance management. A strong understanding of UK employment law is essential.
