What You’ll Do

The HR Intern will support the Talent & Learning function, which encompasses talent management, employee development, leadership programs, and training. This role provides exposure to real‑world HR practices while contributing to internal communications, content development, and project coordination in a fast‑paced manufacturing organization.

  • Assist in the development and delivery of internal HR communications (e.g., email, intranet content, digital signage).
  • Support the planning and coordination of employee training sessions and leadership development programs.
  • Help create learning resources such as job aids, presentation materials, or onboarding content.
  • Participate in research and benchmarking related to talent development or HR best practices.
  • Assist with data collection and preparation of reports related to talent and learning initiatives.
  • Provide support for other HR‑related projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Canva or similar graphic design tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Interest in learning about HR processes, talent development, and internal communications.
Compensation
  • $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and educational background.
Work Hours / Length of Program
  • The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August.
  • Full‑time, targeting 40 hours per week.
  • Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and business needs.
  • This is a paid internship.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands

This position is based in our Corporate Office, and employees are expected to wear business‑casual dress. The office is connected to a state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility and may involve general exposure to a manufacturing environment, including noise, temperature fluctuations, or other factors. Employees entering the manufacturing facility are required to wear high‑visibility vests, eye protection, ear protection, and steel‑toed shoes.

  • Successful completion of a drug screening is required for this role.
  • This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods, hearing, and talking.
  • May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing a computer monitor for extended periods.
  • Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
