The HR Intern will provide practical support to the HR function while gaining exposure to HR systems, processes, reporting, document control, and continuous improvement activities. This position is suited to a student or recent graduate who is interested in developing experience in HR administration, project coordination, and business process improvement within a life sciences manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the Waterford site.
- Assist with HR data entry, validation, data cleansing, and record management activities.
- Assist with document control, file management, and digitalisation of HR records.
- Prepare HR presentations and communications
- Review existing administrative processes and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate project actions, follow-ups, and documentation to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee and HR information.
Essential
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Business, Human Resources, Administration, Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
- Professional approach and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

- Experience working on projects through college, placement, or previous employment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or HR systems such as Workday.
