The HR Intern (India)  is responsible for providing comprehensive generalist support to the HR team while simultaneously managing office operations in our Bangalore location for a 6-month period. This includes supporting various human resources functions and other stakeholder functions aligned with our established company goals and objectives. In addition, the ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach in maintaining office efficiency by managing supplies, HR vendor relationships, coordinating culture events, and administrative tasks, while creating a collaborative and inclusive office environment. The position offers final year MBA HR students or recent graduates valuable exposure to both people management and operational responsibilities, serving as a foundation for their future successful career in human resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Support employee relations by addressing basic inquiries
  • Help administer benefits programs
  • Assist with employee documentation
  • Contribute to HR reporting and analytics
  • Manage office and pantry supplies inventory
  • Coordinate with HR vendors and service providers
  • Maintain office equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary
  • Help implement and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Handle dispatches and official mails.
  • Handling of logistical office needs including ordering of supplies, dealing with vendors and greeting visitors
  • Provide operative and administrative support to the HR Director (International) and HR Operations Specialist (International) in HR Projects and throughout the employee lifecycle in a confidential and sensitive manner
  • Coordinate cross-functional events, end of month lunch/dinners, staff birthdays, etc.

Requirements:

  • Final Year MBA student with HR specialisation, or a recent graduate in MBA with HR Specialisation
  • Previous internship in HR preferred, though not mandatory
  • Must be available for 40  hours/week internship for 6 months duration
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Customer focused attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills
  • Basic knowledge of HR principles and practices
  • Attention to detail
  • Resourceful and proactive
  • Willing to go the extra mile 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Familiarity with G-suite applications is preferred
