As a HR Generalist here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive HR support to our HR Services function The HR Generalist supports day-to-day Human Resources operations and provides guidance to employees and managers across a wide range of HR functions. 
You will report directly to our Director of HR, and you will work onsite out of our Spokane, WA location. Candidate must be local to the area, or willing to re-locate on their own.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate recruitment, including job postings and offer preparation.
  • Facilitate new-hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and workforce planning.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as an accessible point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR inquiries.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues by investigating concerns and recommending solutions.
  • Support conflict resolution and promote a positive, inclusive workplace environment.

Policy Administration & Compliance

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Assist with HR audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds (if applicable).
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations, including handling employee inquiries, investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans
  • Partner with talent acquisition team to attract and select top talent for the organization
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to support business objectives
  • Provide guidance and support to HR team members on HR practices and regulations
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

 

WE VALUE

  • 2 plus years of HR experience across multiple HR functions.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
  • Prior experience supporting a manufacturing environment

COMPENSATION

The annual base salary range for this position is $70139-87725k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
