We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our team in Guadalajara. Responsible for supporting and executing core HR functions, including payroll administration, compliance with labor regulations, employee onboarding, and benefits administration. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and ensures HR processes are accurate, compliant, and aligned with company policies and business objectives.
Location: Guadalajara; Jalisco Mexico
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of payroll processes and labor regulations.
- Internal workforce planning and HR policy management, including compliance with Mexican labor regulations (NOM-037, NOM-035), vacation policies, bonuses, and benefits
- Experience with onboarding, HR operations, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage confidential information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job duties:
- Manage payroll processes, including salary calculations, deductions, bonuses, and coordination with external providers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and internal HR policies, supporting audits and maintaining proper documentation.
- Coordinate and deliver onboarding and offboarding processes, including employment documentation and employee records management.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including meal vouchers (food vouchers), and act as the main point of contact for employee inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and systems.
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and collaborate with stakeholders on HR operations and reporting.
