POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our team and support HR operations in a fast-paced wholesale data center environment. This role will be responsible for handling a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR within technical or industrial settings and a strong understanding of the unique workforce needs in a data center environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and source top talent for data center operations, facilities, IT, and administrative roles.
- Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating background checks.
- Support onboarding programs to ensure new employees integrate smoothly into the organization.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company and legal standards.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies, particularly in highly regulated data center environments.
- Assist in audits and reporting related to HR metrics, safety compliance, and labor laws.
- Support Talent Management in performance review cycles, including goal setting, evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
- Input changes and helps maintain the integrity of HRIS system.
- Act as a point of contact to address HR related questions from staff and management.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, questions, and issue resolution.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate HR metrics into actionable insights
Employee Relations
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR programs.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Support initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and a healthy workplace culture.
HR Projects
- Participate in and support HR initiatives such as training programs, wellness activities, DEI initiatives, and employee engagement events.
- Assist in maintaining and improving HR processes and workflows.

MINUMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Multi state HR experience preferably in at least one of the following California, New York, Illinois.
- Experience working for an organization that has a mix of exempt and nonexempt population.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- HR business acumen – ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in data centers, technology, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, OSHA regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-security work environment.
- Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related reasons.
