The HR Generalist – first point of contact for employees and managers seeking assistance across all HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), including Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, and HR Systems. This role provides accurate and timely support by addressing routine inquiries, processing transactions, and ensuring issues are routed appropriately for resolution.
The HR Generalist operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service while upholding HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

Here is what you will need:
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of HR, customer service, or related administrative experience.
- Experience with HRIS and case management systems preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basic HR principles, employment laws, and HR policies.
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to convey information clearly and empathetically.
- Customer service mindset with a focus on timely, accurate, and respectful interactions.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills in managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based HR service delivery model.
A Day in the Life of a HR Generalist:
- Provide services and support for the following areas:
- Employee and Manager Support
- Serve as the initial point of contact for HR-related inquiries via phone, email, or in-person requests.
- Provide accurate information and guidance on HR policies, programs, and processes across all COEs.
- Resolve inquiries independently, escalating complex matters to appropriate HR COE specialists or leaders.
- HR Transactions & Administration
- Process routine HR transactions, including employee data changes, onboarding documentation, and offboarding tasks.
- Support benefits enrollment changes, leave of absence initiation, and basic payroll adjustments.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection laws.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with HR COE teams to stay informed about policy changes, program updates, and new initiatives.
- Identify recurring employee questions and collaborate with COEs to update resources and FAQs.
- Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance employee experience.
