POSITION PURPOSE Why does this position exist?
The HR Generalist plays a critical role in fostering a positive employee experience by supporting key HR functions, with a specialized focus on Learning & Development, HR Compliance & Auditing, Employee, and Employer Branding. This role ensures that employees have access to meaningful growth opportunities, HR processes remain compliant and efficient, and the company is positioned as an employer of choice.
By supporting training initiatives, ensuring HR compliance, and enhancing employer brand visibility, the HR Generalist helps create a workplace where employees thrive, engage, and contribute to the company’s long-term success. This position serves as a bridge between HR operations and strategic people initiatives, ensuring that HR practices align with both business objectives and employee well-being.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES What does this position aim to do?
General HR Functions
- Provide day-to-day HR support including employee relations, policy implementation, and HR administrative tasks.
- Assist in the review and update of HR policies to align with labor laws and industry best practices.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and HR-related concerns.
Learning and Development (L&D)
- Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Coordinate learning needs analysis (LNA) and maintain learning records for employee development tracking.
- Partner with Director of HR and department heads to identify skills gaps and recommend learning interventions.
- Monitor training feedback and recommend improvements to maximize learning effectiveness.
HR Auditing
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes, records, and systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and Philippine labor laws.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports, highlight gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure employee files, contracts, and HR documentation are accurate and complete.
Employer Branding
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and Brand Communications teams to develop employer branding strategies aligned with the company’s culture and values.
- Manage social media content and external platforms to promote company culture, employee testimonials, and career opportunities.
- Organize and participate in career fairs, campus recruitment activities, and company branding initiatives.
- Seek relevant and impactful external events, media opportunities, programs that will increase the employer brand visibility.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS What should the position holder be and have?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist (all areas of HR) experience, with at least 2 years handling Learning & Development, HR Auditing, Employer Branding initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in developing and facilitating training programs preferred.
- Technology savvy, innovative, and very good project management skills.
- Familiarity with social media management and employer branding campaigns a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
